The grid
One square per day. A partial day is drawn at its real height, so one glass out of eight and seven out of eight look like the different days they were.
HabitGrid is a record, not a to-do list. You mark today and the grid fills in. A few months from now you have your year written down, day by day, without having to remember any of it.

How it works
None of this lives on a server. Everything is worked out on your phone, from the days you marked.
One square per day. A partial day is drawn at its real height, so one glass out of eight and seven out of eight look like the different days they were.
If your goal is three, the first tap marks one. Partial progress shows on the card, in the history and in the widgets.
You choose the weekdays, the times per week or the every-N-days rhythm. A day that wasn't due never breaks a streak, and skipping one on purpose is neutral.
From the full grid down to a one-tap button that takes a single cell. You mark from the home screen without opening the app.
Statistics
Most apps show you a percentage, and a percentage drops the day you add a sixth habit, even though you did more than yesterday. HabitGrid shows you both: the count that goes up when you do more, and the rate that says how caught up you are.

Privacy
Your habits are stored on your phone and never leave it. We don't receive them, we don't keep them on any server and we don't use them for anything.
There is no account to create and no email to hand over. No ads either, and nothing watching what you do.
And you can take your data with you whenever you want: the app exports your full history and imports it back anywhere.
FAQ
No. There is no sign-up, no email, no login. You open the app and start.
No, and that is on purpose: syncing means a server, and a server means your data leaves the phone. To move to a new device the app lets you export your full history and import it on the other side.
It depends on what you told the app. A day outside your schedule never breaks the streak. Skipping a day on purpose doesn't either: it is neutral and leaves the maths. A day that was due and went unmarked, that one does count as missed.
How settled it is, from 0 to 100%. Every day pulls it a little, and recent days weigh more than old ones. The difference from a streak is that a streak breaks in one day, while strength falls slowly and climbs back slowly.
Yes. No ads and no locked features.
We are working on it. Right now the priority is shipping the best possible app for people on Android, and once that is where we want it, we will put the effort into iPhone.
